Kate Middleton makes her debut on the front of Vogue to mark the fashion magazine's 100th anniversary

Shot in the Norfolk countryside, the striking images capture the dressed-down Duchess relaxed and happy. Here, she is wearing a black and red striped long-sleeved top from Petit Bateau and black Burberry trousers

British Vogue and the National Portrait Gallery collaborated on the series of photographic portraits with HRH The Duchess of Cambridge. Here, Kate is wearing a black fedora hat from Beyond Retro and a charcoal brown double-breasted suede coat and white shirt, both from Burberry

In a landmark series of portraits celebrating the 100th anniversary of British Vogue, the Duchess of Cambridge is set to appear on news stands as the June cover girl

Shot in the Norfolk countryside and styled by Vogue Fashion Director Lucinda Chambers.

Two of the images have been displayed in the current Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition at the gallery, and a portfolio of seven photographs including the cover and an accompanying article will appear in the centenary June issue of Vogue.
